Recently I read in the news about a man who, out of anger, poured acid on his sleeping wife and daughter. As a result his wife died and his daughter was seriously burnt and permanently blinded. How senseless, how tragic. No wonder the Word of God tells us:"In your anger do not sin. Do not let the sun go down while you are still angry, and do not give the devil a foothold." (Ephesians 4:26)
No matter how angry you are, how bitter, how hurt or wronged, you have no right to harm, much less kill, anyone. On the contrary let us "be kind and compassionate to one another, forgiving each other, just as in Christ God forgave you". (Ephesians 4:32)
